The author aimed to transform the vanilla biomes to make them more atmospheric and reminiscent of their real-life counterparts. The main changes will affect rivers, making them wider and longer, with their banks composed of biome blocks. Lava lakes, lava springs, and canyons will be removed from nearly all biomes.
