The mod changes the vanilla way of obtaining Elytra in End ships. Now, instead of an Elytra frame, there will be a trial chamber where you can obtain a key to get the Elytra. Vaulted End is especially useful on multiplayer servers, as you won’t have to travel thousands of blocks in search of new cities to get Elytra.
